Ohio State Marching Band honors "America's Pastime" with baseball-themed show

Americas Pastime halftime show at Ohio State-Indiana game

The Ohio State Marching Band traded the football field for a baseball diamond during its halftime performance at the Ohio State-Indiana game on Oct. 8.

The baseball-themed show, named “America’s Pastime,” included renditions of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” “Centerfield” by John Fogerty and “Sweet Caroline.” Band members also acted out the proceedings of a baseball game, creating the images of a batter and an outfielder and conducting their own hot dog condiment race.

The show concluded with the Marching Band spelling out "Go Tribe!" to show support for the Cleveland Indians as they continue their post-season run.
