2023 Drum Major Tryouts
The Ohio State University Marching Band will choose its head drum major and assistant drum major for the 2023 season. All candidates will perform the traditional pregame ramp entrance, a twirling routine set to music, and a series of high tosses.
Members of the public are invited to attend. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or a blanket. The event will conclude with the announcement of the drum major and the assistant drum major for the 2023 season. Our 2022 head drum major, Austin Bowman, has used up his eligibility, so a new head drum major will be named for the first time since 2021.
