All candidates will perform the traditional pregame ramp entrance, a twirling routine set to music, and a series of high tosses.Members of the public are invited to attend. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or a blanket. The event will conclude with the announcement of the drum major and the assistant drum major for the 2024 season. Traffic update:The Capital City Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, April 27, from approximately 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Several streets, including portions of Lane Avenue, High Street, Fyffe Road, Woody Hayes Drive, Tuttle Park Place, Annie and John Glenn Avenue, Neil Avenue, 18th Avenue, College Road and 12th Avenue will experience rolling closures. Campus will be accessible from the south, from the west via King Avenue, or northbound State Route 315 to Med Center Drive. Traffic delays are anticipated. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area.
